The Jersey City Recreation Jets compete in the Twin Valley Football League.   JC Recreation fields both Tackle and Flag teams for participant’s ages 7-14 years of age. Divisions are divided by age, weight, and experience. The season runs through November.

YOUTH TACKLE
The Jersey City Jets are a traveling team and their season runs from September to November.

Location & Schedule 
Home games are played on Sundays at Caven Point.

Junior Pee Wee – Ages 7 – 9:
Weight up to 160
 
Pee Wee – Ages 10 – 11:
Weight up to 180

Junior Varsity – Ages 12 – 14:
Weight up to 135
  
Varsity – Ages – 12 – 14: 
No weight Limit

Applications for 2013 will be accepted from June through July at:

Mondays through Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

YOUTH NFL FLAG FOOTBALL 
The Department of Recreation in conjunction with the NFL, will be conducting registration for Youth Flag Football Leagues.  This Program is for grammar school boys and girls ages 7 to 14 as of September 1st, 2012.

Divisions 
Junior - Ages 7 - 10
Senior - Ages 11 - 14
