Year Up New York | New Jersey is writing to share exciting news about paid career training and internship opportunities available at Year Up Hudson Community College campus!

For those unfamiliar, Year Up is a one-year career accelerator program empowering young adults (age 18–26) to enter a career in Technology or Business. Year Up HCCC is now accepting applications for their Spring 2021 Cohort, which begins this upcoming January. To officially apply to the Year Up program at HCCC, please complete this form. For more information, please see the attached flyer.

Year Up at HCCC provides young adults with six months of paid professional development and specialized career technical training. This instruction prepares students for the second phase of the program: a six-month paid full-time internship at one of Year Up’s many corporate partners, which include Bank of America, Google, J.P Morgan, Spotify, and Facebook. Year Up’s mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by ensuring that young adults gain the skills, experiences, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through both career development and higher education.

Within the first year after program completion, 90% of Year Up graduates in the greater NYC area are employed full time (earning on average close to $21 per hour) or pursuing an advanced degree. For insight into the Year Up student experience, please see their Class 26 Graduation video.

To officially apply to the Year Up program at HCCC, please complete this form. If you have any questions, please connect with Year Up Enrollment Specialist Harrison Bass at Hbass@yearup.org.
