The Division of Sanitation is responsible for snow removal, street sweeping, refuse and recycling collection, dumpster rental, and vacant lot management.

Sanitation Inspectors patrol all six wards daily. They respond to concerns about waste management, litter, improperly maintained yards and vacant lots, illegal dumping, and graffiti.

Lot crews clear vacant city lots of overgrown weeds, litter and debris.
