Mayor Fulop in front of the new city garbage/ recycling containersThe Division of Sanitation is responsible for snow removal, street sweeping, dumpster rental, and vacant lot management.

Sanitation Inspectors patrol all six wards daily. They respond to concerns about waste management, litter, improperly maintained yards and vacant lots, illegal dumping, and graffiti. Lot crews clear vacant city lots of overgrown weeds, litter and debris.
