Welcome to the Division of Community Development (DCD)!

Our mission is to strengthen Jersey City through fostering strong partnerships and responsibly investing our funding resources in the community.

We seek to develop Jersey City as a viable community by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent, affordable housing, suitable living environments and public spaces, public services and expanded economic opportunities. Our core values are IDEAS: Integrity, Dedication, Enthusiasm, Attentiveness and Solutions.
