Residential Property Owners Snow Shoveling
Clear a path at least 48 inches wide along the sidewalk within eight hours after snow has stopped falling.

Business Property Owners Snow Shoveling
Clear a path at least 48 inches wide along the sidewalk within four hours after snow has stopped falling.

If snow fall ends overnight, the count starts at sunrise.

• Remove all vehicles from designated snow  EMERGENCY ROUTES to facilitate plowing/salting operations. City Ordinance §332-34
• Parking in crosswalks, next to protected bike lanes, within 25ft of intersections, in front of fire hydrants, and double parking will be strictly enforced. All vehicles in violation are subject to be ticketed and towed.  NJ State Statute 39 § 4-138
• Do not to shovel snow into streets. 
• Report heat and other related complaints to the Resident Response Center: (201) 547-4900.
