Special needs programs

From soccer to golf to summer camp, the Jersey City Department of Recreation offers a variety of programs for residents with special needs.

The programs look to provide participants with opportunities to socialize with their peers, interact with the community, while engaging in fun-filled recreational activities.

PROJECT GLAD SUMMER CAMP

Every summer, the Project GLAD Summer Camp is held for Jersey City residents between the ages of 7 and 22.  Some of the summer program activities include swimming, arts and crafts, dance classes, outdoor sports, physical education and field trips.
