Marin Boulevard Safety Improvements

Montgomery Street to 6th Street - Scope of Work: The City of Jersey City is advancing the installation of the safety improvements designed for a Federal Local Safety Project along Marin Boulevard. The street will be restriped to install a northbound protected bike lane connecting the existing protected bike lanes on Montgomery Street and Columbus Drive to 6th Street.

18th Street to Hoboken - Scope of Work: The City of Jersey City completed a planning and design study in conjunction with the City of Hoboken on a joint project to improve the safety of this important connection between the Cities on Marin Blvd/Henderson St between 18th Street in Jersey City and Observer Highway in Hoboken. The street will be restriped to install a two-way protected bikeway connecting the existing protected bike lanes on 18th Street in Jersey City to the two-way protected bikeway on Observer Highway in Hoboken, with connection to Hoboken Terminal.
