Courthouse Park 

The City of Jersey City has partnered with Hudson County, the Courthouse Park Advocacy Group, and consultant SWA Group to develop plans for a new park in the heart of Journal Square. The 3.4 acre park will be located at the site of the current Hudson County Administration Building at 567 Pavonia Avenue. As we design this new park, we will be prioritizing the needs of the residents who live directly adjacent to the area without access to any park space, while also advancing a world-class design that is in alignment with our citywide goals of sustainability, resilience, transportation equity, innovation, and smart growth.
