On Sunday, April 13, 2025, the 3rd Annual Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon will take place, starting at 7AM.

STREET CLOSURES
Sunday, April 13, 2025, streets along the marathon route will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6AM to 3PM. Notably, Washington Blvd. will close earlier, at 4AM.

Washington Blvd./St: From Park Lane North to Sussex St (both sides)
18th St: From Park Lane North to Jersey Ave (both sides)
Grove St: From 18th St to 15th St, 12th St to Sussex St (both sides)
16th St: From Jersey Ave to Marin Blvd (both sides)
Marin Blvd: From 18th to 15th St, 12th to Wayne St (both sides)
Newport Pkwy: From Jersey Ave to North Blvd (both sides)
Christopher Columbus Dr: From Hudson St to Brunswick St (both sides)
10th St: From Marin Blvd to Erie St, Jersey Ave to Brunswick St (both sides)
Grove St/Manila St: From 12th St to Sussex St (both sides)

(NOTE: cars must be moved to these alternate parking sites prior to 11:59 pm Friday night, April 11)

Jersey City Medical Center, South Garage, Jersey City City Hall are available as an alternative parking location to avoid towing and ticketing, however cars located there will not be able to be moved between 6am and 3pm on Sunday, April 13.
